Fitchburg, Mass. -- The Salem State men competed at the Jim Sheehan Invitational hosted by Fitchburg State on Saturday morning. The men's 8k race went off at 11:45 through the fields and wooded trails. Captain Brett McCoy led his team by finishing in the top 10 with an 8th place finish time of 32:03. Next up for the Viking men were sophomore Austin Poulton (18) 35:32, senior Brian Lambers (29) 39:07, and sophomore first year runner James Tincknell(30) 39:11, who rounded out the Viking finishers.
