Men's Cross Country Preview

Comments

Salem, MA -- The 2014 men's cross country team will look to build upon the momentum of 2013. Having graduated its No. 1 and No. 4 runners, the men's team will be looking to fill those shoes. Senior captain Brett McCoy sets the standard for being hard driven, and will unite the men under his leadership. Last year's outstanding freshman, Austin Poulton, is expected to be an impact runner with his 8k times at the beginning of this season starting under 30:00. Sophomore James DiMartino will fill the fourth slot and senior Brian Lambers, who was hampered by injury last season, is expected to have a breakout season. Two runners who will have an impact are senior Walter Cicchetti and junior first season runner JB Tincknell. With their addition to the team, it will provide depth in the top eight this season for the men.
