Women's Cross Country Competes At Golden Bear InvitationalPublished by
Springfield, Mass. The Salem State University women's cross country team competed at the Western New England Golden Bear Invitational on Saturday morning. The Vikings finished a respectable 12th out of 22 teams in their best performance of the season. Joviana Morin once again paced the Vikings with a time of 21:39 in the 5K. Two Salem State runners, who ran particularly well, were sophomore Claire Nagelschmidt,(151) 25:02, all important displacement #7 runner for the team, and captain Kat Comeau (156) 25:15.
