Five Salem State Athletes Earn All-Conference HonorsPublished by
Buzzards Bay, MA -- Five Salem State athletes were recognized by the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) for earning all-conference honors this fall. The Salem State women's soccer team placed two members on the team. Sophomore Leah Wood (Midfield, Loveland, Ohio) and junior Kaitlyn Quigley (Back, Santa Maria, Calif.) were selected to the second team. Volleyball players senior Mackenzie Carpenter (Setter, Peabody, Mass.) and sophomore Emily Peay (Middle Blocker, Lebanon, Conn.) were also named to the All-MASCAC second team, while senior Stephen Trainor (Salem, MA) earned ALL-MASCAC honors with a 10th place finish at the MASCAC/New England Alliance Championship.
