Wenham, Mass. The Salem State women's cross country team ran in the Pop Crowell Invitational hosted by Gordon College on Saturday afternoon. Desiree Raymond (Westport, MA) was the top-finisher for the Vikings, covering the 5k course in a time of 23:34 (61). Brittney Sorbello, of team champion University of New England ,was the first woman to cross the finish line with a time of 20:16. Sorbello out-sprinted Georgia College's, Lena White, who finished exactly one second behind the Nor'easters top finisher.
